If you need to record all of your breakout rooms, it is recommended to give individuals the ability to record and designate someone as the videographer for their room. Local recordings can be initiated in any of the rooms by participants within a given room as long as a participant is able to record. Whatever they see will be captured in the recording. When you record locally the recording will follow the host.
If you wish to capture your breakout rooms, it is important to make special plans to ensure that your content is recorded as you intend. The standard is that breakout rooms are not captured. Recording Zoom meetings can be a useful tool, but there are some limitations when it comes to recording breakout rooms.
